Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water in Paradise Valley
We install a compact reverse osmosis system in the cabinet beneath your sink, giving you a dedicated tap for drinking, coffee and cooking. A free water test comes first, so you see what the membrane will take out before you choose anything.

What Reverse Osmosis Does at Your Kitchen Sink
Reverse osmosis forces water through a semi-permeable membrane whose pores are far finer than any ordinary cartridge. Dissolved salts, minerals and a long list of trace impurities cannot pass, and the system flushes them away through a small drain line. What comes out of the separate faucet is water for drinking, coffee, ice and cooking.
It is a point-of-use system, not a whole-house one. It treats the water you put in your body, while showers and laundry stay on your regular supply. Pair it with whole-home filtration or a water softener if the test shows the rest of your home needs attention too.
There is a running-cost side as well. A good RO system replaces the steady cost of bottled water and the trips to buy it, and on most standard units it uses no electricity at all, working on your home's own water pressure.
What Comes With Your Reverse Osmosis System
Testing before any recommendation
Your water gets measured at no charge and with zero obligation. Those readings, rather than a sales sheet, settle which stages and which membrane belong under your sink.
Matched pre-filters and membrane
Sediment and carbon pre-filters protect the membrane from grit and chlorine, which helps it last. We choose stages for what your water actually carries, not for a longer parts list.
A dedicated faucet in a finish that fits
The RO faucet mounts beside your main tap. We talk through finish options so it sits comfortably next to your existing fixtures, and we use an existing hole or make a clean new one.
Efficient drain and storage setup
We set the drain connection to code and can suggest tankless or permeate-pump designs that send less water to the drain. That keeps cabinet space free and water use sensible.
Optional refrigerator and ice maker line
If you want filtered water at the fridge, we can run a line to it. Mineral-free water also means less scale building up inside the ice maker.
Fitting comes with the system
Install is included with water treatment systems, so the figure we give you by phone already covers the equipment and the labor to put it in. Every part is named before a date goes on the calendar.

When an Under-Sink RO System Makes Sense
- Cases of bottled water keep stacking up
- Hauling flats of water home costs money, shelf space and time. A tap at your sink does the same job without the plastic or the store runs.
- Coffee and tea taste flat or bitter
- Heavy dissolved minerals change the way coffee and tea extract. Water from a membrane brews cleaner and lets the flavor come through.
- White crust on kettles and ice trays
- Water across the Phoenix area tends to run high in minerals. If your kettle scales up quickly, your drinking water is carrying a lot, and RO removes most of it.
- Older plumbing in your home
- Aging pipes and fittings can add metals to standing water. RO is a strong second barrier for the water you drink, and a test shows whether it is warranted.
- You want certainty about trace contaminants
- Some homeowners simply want an extra layer for drinking water. We explain plainly what a membrane does and does not remove, without fear-based selling.
What Happens on Install Day
- 1
Results first, then a price
Your free water test comes before any recommendation, and we go over the readings with you. When RO is a good match, you get installed system pricing over the phone before a date is set.
- 2
Prepare the cabinet
We clear and protect the cabinet base, shut off the cold supply, and check the drain and shutoff valves. Worn valves are pointed out before we connect anything to them.
- 3
Mount and connect
The filter housings and membrane go on the cabinet wall, the faucet goes in at the sink, and the supply and drain lines are routed neatly so you keep usable storage space.
- 4
Flush, check and tidy
We flush the new filters, pressurize the system and check every fitting for drips. Then we show you how filter changes work and leave the cabinet clean.
What Moves the Price of a Reverse Osmosis System
Most RO installs are straightforward, but a few details change the number. Your free water test and a quick look under the sink tell us which ones apply. You get a clear quote by phone before you commit to anything.
- System design
- A basic tank system costs less than a tankless or high-efficiency model. The efficient designs cost more up front but send less water down the drain over the years.
- Number of stages
- Extra stages, such as a remineralizing filter for taste, add to the price. We only recommend them when your test or your preference calls for it.
- Faucet and finish
- A standard chrome faucet is the simplest choice. Matching a specialty finish to your existing fixtures adds a little.
- Extra lines and access
- Running a line to the refrigerator, drilling a stone countertop or working around a crowded cabinet takes more time and materials.
Reverse Osmosis Questions
- Is it true reverse osmosis sends water down the drain?
- Yes, some. The membrane needs a steady rinse to stay clear, and that rinse water leaves through the drain line. Tankless and permeate-pump designs cut the amount considerably compared with older tank units. We lay out how each option compares so you can weigh purchase price against ongoing water use.
- Will RO slow down my kitchen faucet?
- No. Your main faucet stays on its normal supply. The RO water comes from its own small faucet, and the flow there is steady enough for filling glasses, pots and pitchers.
- How long do the filters and membrane last?
- Plan on swapping the pre-filters once or twice a year. The membrane itself typically runs several years, depending on what your water carries. Water with a heavy mineral load wears it out sooner, which is one reason a softener or pre-filtration can be worth it. Before we leave, we walk you through a cartridge swap so it feels routine.
- Do I need a water softener too?
- Not always. RO treats your drinking water only. If your test shows hard water is scaling fixtures and appliances around your home, a water softener protects the rest of your plumbing and also eases the load on the membrane.
- Does RO remove the minerals I want in my water?
- It removes most dissolved minerals, including calcium and magnesium. Most people get those from food rather than water. If you prefer the taste of some mineral content, a remineralizing stage adds a small amount back.
